We had the most amazing stay!
The Yurt was by far the best eco-conscious getaway I’ve ever had. All the little details were perfect - we loved the kitchen cabin and the washing up station! The Yurt really did feel like it’s own little world, and being able to see the lambs in the next field from the door was just lovely.
Magnus was a brilliant host! We’ll definitely be back.

We had a fantastic stay in the yurt. The location could not be better and the hosts could not be friendlier. It's a great place to relax and our 2 year old loved it, especially the closeness to the animals and nature. There is everything you need for comfortable stay and we highly recommend staying at Far Field. It's only a 5 minute walk to the local village which is really nice, great pubs and playground. We would definitely stay again!

The Far Field Yurt is absolutely perfect for a rural weekend break.
Magnus is a fantastic host who was incredibly helpful on arrival and introduced us to some of the fantastic little extras his place has to offer such as the hammock which was, for me at least, a genuine highlight.
The yurt itself is set apart from the camp site which really makes it feel like it’s your own place. It’s brilliantly well presented and incredibly cozy, complete with wood burning stove to keep the place nice and toasty.
There are plenty of walks around the dales and you can pretty much walk straight out of the site and into the hills. Plus there’s even a couple of cracking little pubs just around the corner too. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

I was hoping this yurt would be as good as described and as the pictures showed... it was even better. So many thoughtful touches, incredibly clean and just beautiful location. It really did not feel like we were camping at all! And so many walks including to local pubs which we will definitely be investigating on a return visit once covid is over. And to top it off Magnus was friendly and helpful before, during and after our visit. We would definitely recommend this yurt and Magnus' campsite as a whole.
